A Jill of all trades, my 30 years as a travel journalist has seen me carry out all jobs from writer, editor and sub editor to online content editor and publisher.
Thomson Newspaper trained, I write on travel for a variety of national, regional, business to business and online media. I also write on property, lifestyle and health.

I currently specialise in writing for the web and regularly contribute articles to AOL Travel, Lifestyle & Shopping and Frommer's. As a Senior Editor at AOL, I was responsible for the relaunch of the Travel Channel and I have worked as a sub editor on the Edit Desk.
I have also worked on several online projects for major corporations such as British Airways, KLM, Hilton Hotels, Ramada, Cadogan Holidays, Association of Independent Tour Operatorsand and the Yorkshire Tourist Board.
When I am not travelling I enjoy playing sport of all kinds including tennis, netball, cycling, swimming and runnning.
